A few reimagined book covers for beloved classics.
JOY LUCK CLUB
Using Mahjong tiles, I created a book cover for one of my favorite novels, The Joy Luck Club. I found the Mahjong tiles to be a very symbolic motif throughout the narrative, representing the relationships between cultures, as well as the mother and daughter bonds. Tiles also line the spine of the book.
THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH
The Phantom Tollbooth is one of my favorite books growing up. Brimming with word logic, topsy-turvey perspective shifts, and humorous yet enduring characters, this is definitely one of those novels I think about time after time.
